INDIVERSO project workshop took place at Astangu

18. September 2015

On 15-16 September, the third workshop of the international co-operation project INDIVERSO took place at Astangu VRC. The project brought together over 20 participants from seven European countries and 11 institutions.

The participants were specialists working in vocational education and training for young people with psychological impairment from Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Spain and Estonia.

The aim of the project is to develop diverse and inclusive special education, counselling and support structures in the field of vocational education and training which meet the individual needs of the young people and serve pedagogical staff who are involved in VET. INDIVERSO wants to contribute to everyone having the opportunity to unfold their personality, abilities and participate in society.

Thorough work was done in the two-day workshop, mainly with the content of 7 support structures and methodologies that are going to be developed in the following year. The support structures were divided between institutions for further development and piloting. Co-operation plans were deepened and agreed upon.

The next meeting will take place in March 2016 in Northern Ireland; the project ends in 2017. The project is funded by the European Commission through Erasmus+ program.
